My fees & ways of working

The first step: Initial consultation

As a first step, I offer an extended initial 75 minute session for us to meet each other, for me to understand a little about you and what you would like to get from therapy, and for you to decide if you feel like I am a good fit for what you are looking for in a therapist.

I charge a reduced fee of £50 for this initial session, regardless of if we continue working together.

If you have some additional questions, or if it feels helpful for us to discuss anything in advance of this session, I offer a free introductory 15 minute phone call in advance of this.

We will also use this session to discuss how I work, to confirm fees and our regular weekly meeting time & agree whether our work together will be initially fixed-term or open-ended.

Working together: My normal rate

My fee for each weekly session is £75, paid monthly via invoice. I currently have some availability for new clients.

Sessions are 50 minutes in length and usually take place weekly, either in-person from my therapy room in Bethnal Green, or online.

Much of my work is open-ended, or longer-term work, where we have the time to fully explore the complexity of your experience, your self and what you would like to bring to therapy.

I also offer short-term or fixed-term work, with a minimum commitment of 12 sessions.

We will agree in our initial session what the focus of this work will be, to make sure we can get the most out of the time that we have together.

Information about low-cost sessions

I hold a limited number of low-cost spaces for people who are on a low-income or are unwaged.

I do not have a set fee for these spaces – as part of our first meeting, we will discuss and agree a session rate that is affordable and sustainable for us both.

If I currently have no low-cost spaces available, I can add you to a waiting list for when one becomes available in the future.

I offer 12 pro bono sessions to Palestinians living in the UK through my membership of the Therapy for Palestine UK network. To find out more please head to their website here.
